We just got back from playing pirates for 1/2 a week. Every year Bryan's family plans a family trip and decides on a theme that we do activities around. This year we went to my parents cabin and had a pirate theme. It was a bunch of fun. We all decorated bandanas, make some leather bookmarks, went on a treasure hunt, went on a compass course, rode the 4-wheeler, sat around and relaxed, did some improv. (definitely a new challenge), and just enjoyed ourselves. It was a really enjoyable and memorable trip. Here are a few corny pics.

Most of the time Addyson was rolling in the dirt while Rylee was inside away from the mosquitos.

What a fun idea! Most people don't put that much thought into it-if they're lucky they get everyone there and food on the table!
I love pirates- that is such an awesome idea. I dont think my family would go for having themes then they would have to put some effort into our reunions HAHA!
